Fawn Chapel
Program Director - Student to Student
As Student to Student’s Program Director for the Jewish Federations of North America, Fawn oversees the delivery of the program in all partnering communities. She is responsible for training and support of program staff, developing course materials, sharing best practices, and serving as liaison for all Student to Student communities.
For 18 years, Fawn coordinated the Student to Student program for the Jewish Community Relations Council (JCRC) of St. Louis. She always believed that Student to Student was too impactful to only be in St. Louis, and in 2017, Fawn began helping other cities launch their own Student to Student programs.
Previously, Fawn served as a co-facilitator of JAM, a Jewish-Muslim teen dialogue group, a collaboration of the JCRC and the Islamic Foundation of St. Louis. Fawn is passionate about interfaith relations and especially the potential for teens to transform the world. She and her husband are the parents of three adult children, all of whom are proud former Student to Student participants.
Dalilah Conen
Assistant Program Director
Dalilah Conen (she/her) is a Jewish educator and community leader passionate about teens’ power to transform how the world sees Jewish people. In her role as Assistant Program Director, she supports coordinators and recruits communities across the national Student to Student network, develops curriculum, and helps equip Jewish high schoolers with the confidence and skills to share their stories, challenge stereotypes, and build bridges with their non-Jewish peers.
Dalilah holds a Bachelor’s degree in Jewish Studies from Florida Atlantic University, and a Master’s degree in Jewish Education from Hebrew College. She brings experience across a wide range of Jewish communal organizations, denominations, and educational settings, such as BBYO, Hillel, and Milwaukee Jewish Federation. Her approach is rooted in Jewish tradition, resilience-building, inclusive spiritual leadership, and a deep belief that young people are among the most effective forces for connection and change. Originally from Florida, she has lived in Milwaukee for the past six years, where she met her husband, Jordan. Dalilah can usually be found reading a new book, trying a new restaurant, or playing at the dog park with her rescue pup, Bonzo.
